Athletics are a big part of life at Gray Academy. On the court, in the field, on the ice or in the gym, Gray Academy students can get active, build skills and boost confidence by participating in a variety of competitive and non-competitive sports at different grade levels.

Skills, Friendship and Fun

Our favourite furry spokesbear (and official mascot), Rocky the Raider, will tell you: participating in organized sports gives students opportunities to develop physical skills, fitness and strength. Playing and competing together with peers also offers fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, friendships and school pride. It can even enhance academic performance!

Gray Academy students can take advantage of these benefits and have fun playing intramurals at school and/or competing locally, provincially and nationally in:

  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Cross-country
  • Curling
  • Golf
  • Hockey skills
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Volleyball
  • and more!
