Junior Kindergarten* and Kindergarten** at Gray Academy are the beginning of a lifelong journey of curiosity, exploration and growth. Play-based, multi-language learning, small classes and a dedicated team of experienced educators provide a loving, welcoming Jewish environment where your child will begin to thrive academically, socially and Jewishly.

 * Children who will turn 3 or 4 by December 31, 2026, are eligible to enroll in Junior Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year.

 ** Children who will turn 5 by December 31, 2026, are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year.

Junior Kindergarten

 

    • For 3- and 4-year-olds ready to transition from care to formal Jewish education.
    • Choose from full- and half-day options.

    • Enriched learning with specialists in Art, Music and Phys Ed.
    • Mastering the skills and routines needed for a successful transition to Kindergarten.

Kindergarten

 

    • For 5-year-olds ready for new challenges and concepts.
    • A unique full-day program blending General and Judaic learning.
    • Building independence and problem-solving skills.
    • Connecting Jewish texts and traditions with science, math and literacy.
    • Enriching learning with specialists in Art, French, Music, Phys Ed and Guidance.
    • Mastering the skills and routines needed for a successful transition to Grade 1.
