Junior Kindergarten* and Kindergarten** at Gray Academy are the beginning of a lifelong journey of curiosity, exploration and growth. Play-based, multi-language learning, small classes and a dedicated team of experienced educators provide a loving, welcoming Jewish environment where your child will thrive.

 * Children who will turn 3 or 4 by December 31, 2025, are eligible to enroll in Junior Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

 ** Children who will turn 5 by December 31, 2025, are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

Junior Kindergarten

    • for 3- and 4-year-olds ready to transition from care to education;
    • choose from full- and half-day options;
    • learning through play in a joyful Jewish learning environment;

    • enjoying classes with specialists in Art, Music, Phys Ed and Guidance;
    • learn the skills and routines needed for a successful transition to Kindergarten.

Kindergarten

    • for 5-year-olds ready for new challenges and concepts;
    • a unique full-day program of General and Judaic learning;
    • building greater independence and problem-solving skills;
    • connecting Jewish texts and traditions with science, math and literacy;
    • enjoying classes with specialists in Art, French, Music, Phys Ed and Guidance;
    • acquiring the skills and routines needed for a successful transition to Grade 1.
