Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Between the ages of 3 and 5, your growing child is developing new skills, making friends and engaging in imaginative play. Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten are an important part of cognitive, motor, language and social development at this stage.
A powerful approach to early learning
In our bright, vibrant Early Years classroom, our educational approach emphasizes play as a central component of the learning process. As children play, they engage their imagination, take risks and learn problem-solving to support their development. By engaging in purposeful play in the classroom, children not only acquire essential academic skills but also develop crucial social, emotional and cognitive abilities.
Small classes
Our Early Years classes have a maximum of 20 students, for a 1:10 educator to student ratio.
Exceptional educators
Each class is taught by an experienced, licensed teacher, supported by an education assistant.
Early Years programs at Gray Academy provide a nurturing environment where your child will:

- learn skills and routines needed for successful advancement to Kindergarten and Grade 1.
