Vibrant Learning Spaces
Exposing students to a variety of learning environments and modes supports cognitive development and skill-building. We are incredibly fortunate to be at the centre of Winnipeg’s Jewish community, with access to a variety of school and community spaces available for our students.
Throughout the learning day, students benefit from activities in:
- Outdoor playgrounds – soon to receive a dramatic update!
- Our amazing Library
- The Learning Lounge, a collaborative space located within the Library
- The Art Room
- The Music Room
- The Gray Academy-Tough Duck Community Ice Rink
- Rady JCC fitness rooms and pool, used for High School Phys Ed blocks
Activities for Everyone
Team sports, visual and performing arts, clubs and more keep students engaged and learning in and out of the classroom. Most of these programs are offered to students at no cost.
Highlights include:
- Weekly grade-specific lunchtime clubs
- Raiders Ultimate, basketball, volleyball, curling and golf teams
- Wintertime after-school hockey skills and learn-to-skate programs
- Competitive debating
- Reach for the Top teams
- Annual musicals
- After-school Band, Drumline and Vocal Ensemble programs
