COMMUNITY ICE RINK
FITNESS AND FUN ON ICE!
- During the winter months, teachers take students in Grades 4-10 outside to lace up their skates and take advantage of this amazing community asset during Phys Ed classes.
- Students in Grades 3-6 can take advantage of optional, no-cost, after-school Learn-to-Skate and Hockey Skills workshops.
- Students in Grades 7–12 can use the rink during free periods and at lunchtime for free skate and/or pickup hockey.
- We encourage everyone in the community to book the rink for family fun outside school hours.
RINK RULES
- Skating is permitted only with a confirmed booking.
- A hockey-style helmet is mandatory for all skaters.
- Children under 12 must be supervised.
- No food or beverages are permitted on the rink.
- No cell phone use is permitted on the rink.
- Use of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and vape devices is prohibited on and around the rink.
- General skate is prohibited when hockey is being played.
- Night skating is permitted only when the rink is lit.
- Zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour.
- Use the rink at your own risk.
