High School at Gray Academy
Our high school environment focuses on a balance between a strong academic program and opportunities for personal growth and leadership. Students receive the supports they require to be successful at each developmental stage, from peer relations in middle years to university and career guidance in the upper grades.
The success of our students involves teachers, mentors in the school, families, and the community at large. Everyone works together to empower our students. They have a passion for learning and the desire to positively affect the world around them. Our students truly embody what it means to be a Mensch (good person).
Each grade level participates in milestone programs, which take students out of the school, oftentimes out of the city, for team building and Judaic experiences. Our strong athletic and co-curricular programs ensure that our students have opportunities to shine outside of the classroom. With the multitude of opportunities available to each student, we work to ensure that they recognize the value of good physical and mental health. This is worked into the fabric of our school environment — whether we are providing snacks during exams, offering health or yoga sessions, or de-stressing using a therapy dog — we value the health and well-being of all members of our school community.
